"Take Hold of that Which Christ Jesus Took Hold of Me"

Good Morning Precious, Dearly Loved, Exuberantly Celebrated, Rejoiced and Delighted, Completely Forgiven and Miraculously Empowered Child of God!

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that which Christ took hold of me.” Philippians 3:12.  

       Are there Truths in the Word of God that seem to elude you that you just can’t seem to manifest?   The Word says you HAVE BEEN HEALED already by Jesus at the Cross, but you can’t seem to manifest your healing no matter what you do.   The Word says “you are more than a conqueror”, yet you walk in defeat in certain areas.   The Word says that Jesus always leads in triumphal possession, yet defeat and failure plague your life in certain areas.   The Word says you have been freed from a guilty conscience and there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, yet you still feel guilty and condemned! 

  Many people will doubt the Word by saying healing doesn’t happen today, or that being more than a conqueror is positional truth of the Spirit, not actual truth for us on the earth; or that people are not already forgiven and continually washed in the Blood of Jesus because you have to confess all of your sins to keep yourself forgiven.   This is impossible because people don’t even know all the hidden sin in their own heart, sins of omission, so how can you confess the sin that you are not even aware of?  You can’t!!!   You must trust the Word that says, “To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His Blood.” Revelation 1:5.     “He forgave us all our sins.” Colossians 2:12.     “Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” Psalms 103:2-3

 The problem is many times that people simply have not “taken Hold of which Christ Jesus has taken hold of them”!   To “take hold” is to seize until the thing is possessed; it is taking aggressive action to make something their own; it is to grab something in a forceful manner; it is to overtake something until it submits to you and until you own and possess it!   So many Christians are very passive when it comes to their Christian lives and the enemy just steals from them all day long what is rightfully theirs In Christ! 

  There is a fight and a battle to possess what is yours In Christ because the enemy is always trying to kill, steal, destroy and devour what Christ has already purchased for you at the Cross!  You “have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 1:3.       “The Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32.   “Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ.” Romans 8:17.   You have already been given the kingdom and every spiritual blessing In Christ Jesus!  

People may say, “well it must not be God’s will for me to be healed” when the Word of God says that He already healed you at the Cross!  Or, God must not want me to prosper because I am not prospering!   Maybe the problem is not with God like so many people in the church think, maybe the problem is that His people simply just too passive to “take Hold that which Christ Jesus took hold of them.”   Maybe His people are letting the enemy steal from them what is rightfully theirs and that has already been given to them! 

 The enemy is doing everything he can to keep you in fear, weakness and condemnation so you will not rise up and take what is yours! He is trying to paralyze the church by lulling them to sleep in unbelief!   He is enraged at you and is making war against you.  “Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her off-spring those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.” Revelation 12:17.        The enemy lies to God’s people using their own voice so they won’t believe God’s Word.  

  It is time for the church to “Take hold that which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”!!!   Are you ready to take hold of your healed body?  Are you ready to take hold of the wealth of the kingdom of heaven that has already been given to you?  Are you ready to take hold of the relationships the enemy is trying to destroy!  Are you ready to take hold of all your spiritual blessings that are in Christ Jesus?  IT IS TIME for the church to wake up and take back what is rightfully ours and has already been given to us!!!    What do you think?   Are you ready to actively engage in taking hold which Christ Jesus took hold of you?
