Fear, Love and the Spirit!

Hello Precious One!

Ever felt stuck, weak, powerless, paralyzed and very fearful?  I think if we were all honest, we all have had some experience with these feelings at some point.  Some people have lived with these feelings for so long that they have become mighty strongholds.   How do we move out of this type of lifestyle?  I believe we start to speak and agree with the Spirit and the Truth of the Word of God.   We start looking to the Holy Spirit more and more to communicate the realities of the heavenly spirit realm, rather than be so caught into the lies of this worldly, earthly realm!  We set the affections our heart and minds into agreement with the Truth that our Father is always pouring His supernatural Love into our heart by the Holy Spirit.

 Fear has a sense of hopelessness.       “And Hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured His Love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given to us.” Romans 5:5.        “And we have come to know and have believed the Love which God has for us.  God is Love, and the one who abides in Love abides in God, and God in him.  By this (abiding in His Love), Love is perfected with us… There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casts out fear… We Love because He first Loved us.” 1 John 4:16-19.

We just start to set the affections of our heart, abiding, onto the Father’s Love which is a fountain that never stops flowing into us, even on our worst days!   “You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly… But God demonstrates His own Love for us in this:  While we were still sinners, Christ died for us… For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled shall we be saved through His Life!” Romans 5:6-10.    

So we start to know and believe in the Truth that God has, and is, always loving us!!!!  This is where Hope is birthed in our heart by the Spirit!  This sense that I am always being loved perfectly, infinitely, unconditionally and supernaturally, no matter what circumstances or life or my failures may be, becomes stronger and stronger in the depths of our hearts by the Holy Spirit!  We ask Holy Spirit to help us receive this infinite, perfect, unconditional, supernatural Love of the Father into the depths of our heart and He speaks to our new heart and we hear His Loving voice more and more!  

It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to move His Love into the depths of our heart to begin to change.  “I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through Faith.  And I pray that you, being rooted and grounded in Love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the Love of Christ, and to know this Love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  Now to Him is able to do immeasurably more that all we can ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:16-20.   

We can all read the Word of God with our intellects, but we need the power of the Holy Spirit to communicate this Love to the deep places of our heart!!!!   This powerful Love of the Father has the power to cast any and all fear, anxiety, condemnation….. that we may be still holding onto from the old heart and old man.   The Lord has given to us a new heart when we became new creations In Christ, so it takes the power of Holy Spirit to reveal the Truth to our hearts and to awaken the new heart within us!

 It is this abiding in the outpouring of the Father’s Love that fear is eradicated, and Hope is birthed with great power within us!  The Bible tells us many times, “Do not fear and do not be afraid, because I am with you.”   When we fear, we feel alone and isolated from the Love power of God and we feel stuck, weak, helpless, fearful……  The perfect antidote which casts this fear out is the Father’s Love that is as “high as the heavens are above the earth”, which is always being poured into our heart!

 If we keep listening to the fear from the enemy in our heart, it will paralyze us in utter weakness!  But as we start to fellowship with Holy Spirit in Truth more and more, the presence of Jesus and the Father here on the earth, He empowers our heart with His Grace and power to receive the Father’s Love into the depths of our heart!  This Love perfects us and drives out the fear so that our heart can be consumed and utterly possessed by the Father’s Love through the Holy Spirit!                SHALOM
